Business Improvement Lead - Northampton

You will identify improvement opportunities that add value to the customer and business, and align to the company values and strategies. Operating at Group level you will be working with senior stakeholders to lead change/transformational/operational projects resulting in significant performance improvement while embedding a continuous improvement culture delivering sustainable benefits.
*Deliver strategic improvement projects positively impacting on quality, delivery and cost
*Use of Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce inefficiencies and complexity in processes
*Customer focused improvements through optimisation of process, people, technology
*Robust statistical analysis and contemporary improvement methodologies to validate and eliminate the root causes of issues ensuring solutions implemented are sustainable
*Engaging with the business/stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and build the BI project pipeline
*Develop a network of business contacts to ensure that key strategic programs are executed in line with business requirements and are supported by business leadership and operation
*Be a trusted expert and advisor to business leadership and work with them to align contemporary improvement tools and methodologies with business operations
*Develop a team based approach and work with business leadership to ensure resource requirements to support strategic initiatives are aligned with the operations of the business and do not impact customer outcomes
*Work with the business leadership to develop the knowledge and execution capability of both management and frontline staff
*Be a leader of change, ensuring that the journey through culture change is successful
*Mentor/Coach Green Belts to certification
*Keep up with new developments in business improvement methods ensuring the GBI team can deliver the best possible service and solutions to their stakeholders and their customers
*Demonstrable delivery of programmes and/or projects delivering step changes in performance/costs/
*Experience in change management and leadership
*Establishing a culture of continuous improvement
*End-to-End process re-engineering
*Operational process improvements
*Governance and management of workstreams
*Ability to engage and inspire people at all levels of the organisation
*Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
*Excellent presentation and communication skills
*Recognised as a specialist/expert in business/continuous improvement
*Proven problem solving and root cause identification skills
*Coaching and training of Green Belts
*Data analysis and proficient in the use of spreadsheets - IT skills are a must
*Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or Master Black Belt
